An Animated Hobby

I like animated gif's, so much so that I make my own as a hobby of sorts. I've used them for web pages (like the ones at the top and bottom of this page,) forum avatars, and even avatar-making contests. Below are some of my favorites.
I have a down and dirty technique, often capturing YouTube film clips right from my desktop with AviScreen Classic and breaking them down into the individual frames with Image Grabber. Then I simply chose the best images, do some touching up or editing with Adobe Photoshop Elements, and save as an animated gif. Others, like the UFO's at the top of the page, require individual image creation by either adding, removing, or manipulating elements with Photoshop.
All in all it's a relatively easy and fun creative outlet.
